What are your favorite emojis?
Iāll be honest ā I donāt know the meaning of all the emojis out there.
There are so many! Some of them are cute, some are confusing, and some⦠I just don’t even attempt. I stick to the simple, basic ones I actually understand. And honestly? Iām perfectly fine with that.
For me, words have always had more value than emojis.
Maybe it’s the bookish girl in me ā the one who grew up seeing stories as a way to connect, to express, to feel.
Emojis are fun (and sometimes necessary to add a little flavor), but nothing replaces real, thoughtful words. They paint the full picture.
Still, there are a few emojis that feel like a natural fit in my world:
š The Book Emoji.
If you know me, you know how much this one makes sense. Reading isn’t just a hobby ā itās a lifestyle. š pops up in my posts when Iām talking about my current reads, new book hauls, or cozy weekends spent flipping pages.
š and š The Smiles.
Simple, genuine smiles. I use these when I want to share a little warmth without making it complicated. A š is a burst of happy energy; a š is a soft, quiet kind of contentment. Both say, “Iām happy or smiling at something, and I hope you are too.”
⨠The Sparkles.
Sometimes, life just needs a little magic. ⨠isn’t over the top ā itās the perfect sprinkle when Iām talking about small wins, good vibes, or just celebrating a moment.
ā¤ļø The Heart.
Straight to the point. Love, support, care ā no need to overthink it. A little ā¤ļø says it all.
š“ The Sleepy Face.
When I’m exhausted after a long day and I need to hit the bed. This one says everything Iām feeling without needing a whole paragraph. Sleep is sacred.
š The Shopping Bag.
Because let’s be real, we all love shopping… don’t we?. Most of my shopping trips somehow end with me carrying a bag full of girlie essentials and food. Things that fit my lifestyle perfectly.
I might not speak “fluent emoji,” but I speak fluent me. Honestly, thatās the language that matters most.
