The Tale of Two Friends.

Friend “A” got a job interview and was hired. He was to start work two days later. “A” advised “B” to also send his CV to the website where he got his job.

“B” was also lucky to get an interview and was hired. He was to resume the following week. They later found out that, they’ve been hired by the same company for the same position. It got them confused and angry.

“B” decided to call the Hiring Manager, told him about “A” whom they’ve hired and was to resume the next day.

The hiring Manager confirmed the job offer for “A” and apologised. He intends to send “A” an email to cancel the job offer. He further explained the company prefers “B” to “A” because of his skills and his experience and he is the best among all the applicants.

“B” was sad and felt guilty. He begged the Hiring Manager to reconsider “A” and give him the job.The Hiring Manager said NO!

“B” decided to turn down the job offer. He explained to the Hiring Manager that if not for “A”, he wouldn’t have gotten the interview in the first place and he could never betray “A” like that.

After a week, the Hiring Manager called “B” told him he had referred “A” to another company while the job is still on the table for “B”.
